The Property Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and other property facilities are in good working order.

Responsibilities include:

  • Self-starter attitude and reliable.
  • Complete all daily work order requests.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance of grounds and pools.
  • Preventative maintenance around the property.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, or repair: plumbing, urinals, toilets, sinks, dishwashers, ventilation (electric and gas appliances) etc.
  • Repair and/or replace light fixtures.
  • Must have your own tools
  • Preparing apartments for move-in.
  • Minor and major repair of common areas, including, but not limited to: carpentry, drywall, paint, outlets, change/replace locks etc.
  • Repairing heating and air conditioning systems (HVAC).

Scheduled inspections of premises may include:

  • A/C Compressors
  • Roofs and Stairs
  • Parking Areas
  • Laundry Facilities
  • Trash Enclosures
  • Walkways
  • Exterior Lighting
  • Stairs, gates, fences, patios, and railings

Job Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in multi-family property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair
  • HVAC experience required.
  • EPA Type II or EPA Universal at hire or required within 90 days of the start date.
  • Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
